Five levels of membership are available to those interested in supporting NCTA: Active, Life Active,  Civilian, Associate and Sponsorship.

An active member is a member who is currently employed by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and is current in the payment of appropriate dues. You can have your dues drafted from your payroll.  Click here to download the form.
Annual dues: $120.00

Retired membership - Click here to view benefits
A retired member is a member who has retired from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Annual dues: $40.00

Civilian members are employees of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and members of the law enforcement and judicial communities. Associate members shall be comprised of members of the law enforcement and judicial communities and family and special friends of NCTA members. Associate members shall not have the right of voice or vote in the affairs of this association.
Annual dues: $60.00

Honorary membership
An honorary member is any person who is deemed by the Board of Directors of this association to be one who has contributed substantially to the goals and purposes of this association.  Selection as an honorary member shall be upon submission of an appropriate application by an active member and upon approval by the two-thirds vote of the Board of Directors.

Open to companies interested in the welfare of NCTA members. The five levels of sponsorship are:

• Bronze level: Contribution of $100-249 annually
• Silver Level: Contribution of $250-499 annually 
• Gold Level: Contribution of $500-999 annually 
• Platinum Level: Contribution of $1000-4999 annually 
• Diamond Level: Contrbution of $5000 or more annually
