Five levels of membership are available to those interested in supporting NCTA: Active, Life Active, Civilian, Associate and Sponsorship
Active Membership
An active member is a member who is currently employed by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and is current in the payment of appropriate dues.
Annual dues: $300.00

Retired Membership
A retired member is a member who has retired from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Annual dues: $100.00

Civilian Members
Civilian members are employees of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and members of the law enforcement and judicial communities.

Associate Members
AS OF APRIL 7, 2017-NO NEW ASSOCIATE MEMBER APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Current members may renewal but no new members.
Associate members shall be comprised of members of the law enforcement and judicial communities and family and special friends of NCTA members. Associate members shall not have the right of voice or vote in the affairs of this association.
Annual dues: $200
Honorary Membership
An honorary member is any person who is deemed by the Board of Directors of this association to be one who has contributed substantially to the goals and purposes of this association. Selection as an honorary member shall be upon submission of an appropriate application by an active member and upon approval by the two-thirds vote of the Board of Directors.
