Active Membership
In 1994, the Board of Directors
of the NCTA saw a need to open the Association to all members of the Patrol, both uniformed and civilian. The Bylaws were amended to allow all employees of the Patrol to join as
active members.

Associate and Civilian Membership
Associate and Civilian Members are those who proudly support the
efforts of the Members of the NCTA and the Bears Against Drugs Program. Associate members are associated with families and friends of the NCTA. Civilian members are civilians who work
with the NCSHP.
